Roche Bobois Natick
Nearly ten years after Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) built a Roche Bobois showroom in Boston, the furniture company set out to open another store in Natick. Satisfied with their previous experience, Roche Bobois once again hired CCI to build a new store for them.
The space was previously a furniture store under a different brand, so major reconfiguration of the walls and ceilings was required. Of particular note were several challenging design elements created by the Roche Bobois branding team in Paris. Installation of four “feature walls” incorporated large canvas murals with LED fixtures illuminating design from inside. A mirrored wall incorporated illuminated mirrored lettering in the form of the Roche Bobois logo. Details for both elements were provided in French, with metric measurements so CCI had to quickly become fluent in both. CCI successfully completed the installation of both elements, accurately translating both into English, without losing any nuance or detail along the way. The end result is a dramatic example of great design in action.
Roche Bobois’s second time dealing with CCI was as successful as the first. The new Natick store is not only functional, but beautiful and appealing to prospective customers—thanks, in part, to the feature walls and other design elements that CCI installed.
