Rosie’s Bakery
Rosie’s Bakery was already a well-known Boston institution when they reached out to Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI). The bakery’s treats had long been hailed as one of the best in the area, but nonetheless the sales of their Newton store were falling, and the owners had identified the problem: the store was filled with gloomy tones and a crowded décor, turning customers off. Hiring Bergmeyer Associates to provide an aesthetic boost the interior, in the hopes that a more welcoming appearance would draw customers in, CCI was hired to implement the boost.
CCI took several steps to brighten up the interior, including making the company’s trademark green and pink color scheme more prominent, adding new bakery display cases, and bringing in more comfortable furniture. Changes to the lighting ran into trouble when the electrical layout turned out to be different than expected, delaying an already tight schedule. CCI worked around the clock to ensure that the renovation was finished before the end of the store’s summer break, and fortunately hit their deadline despite the setbacks.
The end result was exactly as expected: Rosie’s Bakery’s sales are up, as customers are now enticed not only by the alluring smell of the bakery’s treats but also by the cheerful design of the store’s interior.
