Fenmore
In the heart of Kenmore Square and within walking distance of Fenway Park is the Buckminster Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a storied history. Until recently, though, the Buckminster had no dining options. The hotel saw the need for a café available to their guests, and so hired Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) to help construct the Fenmore American Bistro in the lobby.
The space for the Fenmore had formerly been occupied by a Chinese restaurant, but the restaurant had closed down years prior and both the mechanical and electrical systems of the space were woefully lacking. CCI stripped out the wiring and replaced them, to make sure that the systems met their high standards. Moreover, they had to redesign much of the interior to set up a sports bar set-up, as the bistro was minutes away from Fenway. CCI’s experienced team successfully converted the area without disturbing the hotel’s guests, and the Fenmore was open in time for baseball season.
Now guests at the historic Buckminster can dine in style in the center of Boston, while enjoying a Sox game or relaxing after a day of tourism. The Fenmore is, by all accounts, a home run.
