Granada Highlands

Granada Highlands is a high-rise residential complex in Malden. Its owners, realizing that the massive complex was in need of retouching after years of occupation, hired Construction Coordinators, Inc. to restore several of the common areas, corridors and offices.

Of course, working in such a large residential area brings with it some obstacles. The size of the complex meant that there were always at least several residents around the site at all times, which created additional concerns for safety. Furthermore, CCI had to muffle the noises and dust from construction to avoid disturbing residents who lived nearby the construction.

Nonetheless, CCI managed to enact major improvements. Most notable was the changes in lighting. The building had been quite dark, as it was built with brick and few windows, so CCI put in new lighting systems and windows in order to brighten up the area. CCI also redid the flooring, paint and wood trim in several hallways, and performed other such minor renovations to the common areas and offices.

The end result was a renewed housing complex for the residents of Granada Highlands, now complete with brighter lighting and refreshed paintjobs.
