Dr. Slavin
One of the key jobs of a plastic surgeon like Dr. Slavin is to make a person more beautiful, and when he moved into a new office in Chestnut Hill, he hired Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) to do something similar to his new space. Dr. Slavin wanted his patients to be at ease, so he wanted a warm, home-like décor, which CCI was happy to create.
However, Dr. Slavin’s neighbors complicated the project. CCI was simultaneously performing construction on two other medical offices in the building, Men’s Health Boston and Dr. Silver’s office. Furthermore, next-door to Dr. Slavin’s office was a clinic for pregnant women that was in operation during construction, which meant that CCI had to be extremely careful with dust, debris and other byproducts of construction. Even the Equinox fitness club on the floor below created issues, because CCI had to run plumbing through its ceiling while the club remained open. CCI communicated with other tenants in the building, and scheduled the construction of the other offices, so that the negative impact of the project could be minimized.
Once the transformation was complete, Dr. Slavin had a new, welcoming office from which to work, and his patients had an environment in which they could feel reassured and comforted.
