Southworth Development

Southworth Development, an international development company renowned for their award-winning golf courses and residential communities, now needed some development of their own: specifically, the company was looking for a new office to house their growing organization. Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) was hired to convert an aging office building in Newton into a modern corporate headquarters suitable for a world-wide company.

The project turned out to be far more work than initially anticipated. The office building, initially built in the sixties, needed essentially a complete overhaul. The interior layout was cramped, so CCI knocked down several walls to open the space up. The carpets were replaced. Because the building did not meet modern standards for accessibility, CCI put in an elevator. CCI improved the HVAC systems and sprinklers. Even the exterior needed extensive renovations. In short, CCI did everything short of building an entirely new building.

Now located in a modern and stylish office, Southworth Development continues their track record of excellent development. In fact, they were so satisfied with their new office building that they hired CCI to work on the Renaissance Clubhouse, another of their projects.
