Men’s Health Boston
Men’s Health Boston was the first medical clinic in the US centered on the specific health needs of men, recognized nationally for its success in helping alleviate men’s health issues. However, in 2014 their needs expanded past what their existing offices could offer, so they decided to move to a new suite of offices in Chestnut Hill. To convert the new office space into a state-of-the-art medical area, Men’s Health hired Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI).
Men’s Health’s offices included some interesting design aspects, both from an aesthetic and practical standpoint. The doors to the examination room were barn doors, which were a difficult installation because they required special tracks to run on. The clinic also had several famous clients, so CCI installed a private waiting area and hallway to the exit for them. These wrinkles in the project, compounded with other construction projects CCI was performing in the building on Dr. Slavin and Dr. Silver’s offices, as well as concerns for a clinic for pregnant women on the same floor, meant that work on the project had to proceed carefully. Nonetheless, CCI completed the construction quickly and without issue.
With their new, high-tech office, Men’s Health is now better prepared to continue helping men stay healthy.
