Medway Commons
Medway is a beautiful Massachusetts town, known for its charm and farms, but it was lacking in places to shop. Charter Realty wanted to create a new shopping center reminiscent of a classic New England village: Medway Commons. The project was conceived and designed to reflect the appeal of small town life, and Charter Realty even went so far as to choose a former pig farm as the site for construction in order to better capture the agrarian roots of the community. They hired Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) to make their idea into a reality.
The project was a whole-sale, ground-up construction. CCI’s thorough understanding of the project’s concepts enabled them to deliver beautiful Colonial-style architecture that reflects the character of the town. Furthermore, CCI’s years of experience in retail work, especially in working with national chains, gave them the tools to build a retail space which would serve the needs of future tenants including Starbucks, Subway, Especially for Pets as well as several smaller local retailers.
With animal-themed weathervanes, a poignant and unexpected reminder of the farming history of the site, topping the two new buildings and a variety of retails ready to serve the community, the project is truly a resounding success and a staple for the area.
