House of Samsonite

Several years after Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI) built out a Samsonite showroom within the Shops at Prudential Center in Boston, the luggage company set out to open another store located at Copley Place in Boston. Satisfied with their previous experience, Samsonite once again hired CCI to build out a new store for them.

The existing space was previously re-demised from a large tenant space into two smaller spaces, once of which would occupy the new House of Samsonite store. Major reconfiguration of electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler services were required. Particularly the complex nature of working in Copley Place and coordinating with tenants both below, adjacent, and as well as office space located above, which is something CCI has excelled with while constructing several stores within both Copley Place and the Shops at Prudential Center.

Samsonite’s second time dealing with CCI was just as successful as the first. The end result was a beautiful build out, and a stunning example of the new prototype retail store for Samsonite.
